Proven ability to develop, maintain, and enhance large-scale enterprise applications using IDEAL/Datacom. Strong programming and testing experience with IDEAL/DATACOM, COBOL, CICS, and Datacom combinations. Expertise in production support and maintenance within a mainframe environment. Proficiency in JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, and batch processing. In-depth knowledge of Datacom QDRY and DB utilities, including performance tuning best practices. Experience with mainframe testing tools, version control systems, and job schedulers such as Xpeditor, Endevor, and Control-M. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis. Ability to resolve complex technical challenges efficiently, even under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in modernizing legacy systems, including migration and integration with contemporary platforms.
