This is a contract position with a duration of 3+ months, offering remote flexibility for EST candidates. Key Responsibilities: Power BI Development : Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions. Data Integration : Integrate data from various sources (SQL Server, APIs, flat files, etc.) into Power BI for reporting and analysis. Data Modeling : Develop robust and scalable data models in Power BI, using DAX for custom calculations and measures. Query Optimization : Optimize and fine-tune queries to enhance report performance, ensuring the highest level of efficiency. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. Data Analysis : Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful trends, insights, and business intelligence. User Training & Support : Provide guidance and training to business users on how to use Power BI for their reporting needs. Performance Monitoring : Monitor the performance and reliability of reports and dashboards, identifying and troubleshooting issues proactively. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience : 11-12 years of experience in BI development, with a focus on Power BI. Power BI Expertise : Proficiency in developing complex reports and dashboards using Power BI, including DAX and Power Query. SQL Proficiency : Advanced SQL skills for querying databases, data extraction, and manipulation. Data Modeling : Strong experience with data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, fact tables, dimension tables) in Power BI. ETL Processes : Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize queries, and ensure optimal performance of Power BI reports. Domain Knowledge : Knowledge of the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Storage domain is a strong plus, but not mandatory. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, explain technical concepts, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
