Role: SOA Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 10345 Description Systems Architect for e-MPIRE Taxpayer and Revenue Accounting systems within the ITS Division of Dedicated Support to the Department of Tax and Finance. Duties The selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of the System Development Life Cycle for a multi-tiered processing system. The responsibilities will include guiding and defining architecture requirements for both new development as well as maintenance tasks. Responsible for guiding the architectural design for new development and system enhancements. Responsible for coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups. Presentations of Architecture solutions to management and technical support areas. Performing architectural mappings of current applications and services into a central catalogue. Guiding requirements gathering sessions. Guiding the analysis of requirements and system design work. Development of technical design documents and program specifications. Coding, unit and integration testing of programming assignments. Writing and tuning SQL Technical Support of user testing efforts. Performance analysis and tuning of new and existing applications. Identify and document SDLC processes based on client specific requirements Production support tasks including analysis of issues. Propose and implement solutions. Mentoring of less experienced staff would be required. Mandatory Requirements Experience (14+ Years) Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience with a Government Taxation organization, which includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of Tax Accounting Systems 84 months experience as an IT Application Architect identifying and creating artifacts in the areas of; Architecture Solution Patterns, Current and Future State Enterprise Architecture Models, Service Oriented Architecture design and implementation standards 84 months experience as an IT Application Architect within an n-tier application architecture built on an IBM software stack, including all of the following; IBM z/OS ,AIX, IBM WAS, DB2 z/OS, DB2 on AIX, and IBM WebSphere MQ 84 months experience with IBM DB2 working with databases 24 months experience using TOGAF, Zachman, or other Enterprise Architecture Methodology 84 months of application performance analysis and tuning Rsum Copy of Candidate Identification (i.e., Drivers License/Green Card/Visa and Passport if applicable) Any documents referenced in the above Requested Qualifications (i.e., professional certifications, degrees, etc.) Thank you, Katta Dasharatham Recruiting Team Lead Sligo Software Solutions Inc.
