Role name: IT Analyst Role Description:The IT Analyst II is a mid-level IT professional responsible for analyzing business needs, optimizing IT workflows, and improving IT service delivery. The IT Analyst II serves as an escalation point for IT Analyst I, providing technical mentorship and guidance. Additionally, this role plays a key part in integrating IT systems, enhancing ITSM operations, and ensuring efficient endpoint and AV management. The ideal candidate should have a strong IT support background, experience in enterprise IT environments, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Essential Duties: Gather and analyze business and IT requirements, translating them into technical solutions that improve IT system performance and user experience. Serve as an escalation point for IT Analyst I, troubleshooting complex technical, security, and AV-related issues. Optimize enterprise-wide AV systems, ensuring high availability of video conferencing, digital signage, and collaboration platforms. Manage endpoint security policies, assisting with patch management, compliance enforcement, and device hardening using ManageEngine Endpoint Central. Support IT system integrations, ensuring compatibility across multiple platforms, cloud services, and enterprise applications. Automate IT service workflows, enhancing ITSM processes in ServiceNow, improving ticket resolution times and tracking IT service efficiency. Perform root cause analysis for recurring IT issues, recommending and implementing long-term solutions. Train and mentor IT Analyst I staff, providing guidance on troubleshooting, system administration, and IT process improvements. Assist in IT asset management, ensuring accurate tracking, procurement, and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software. Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines (SOPs) to support IT governance and security initiatives. Collaborate with vendors and IT leadership to evaluate, procure, and implement new IT tools and technologies that align with business objectives. Support IT change management initiatives, ensuring smooth deployment of software updates, system migrations, and infrastructure enhancements. Participate in IT project management activities, supporting system rollouts, security initiatives, and IT infrastructure enhancements. Monitor IT system performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve system reliability and reduce downtime. Manage IT compliance reporting, ensuring IT systems are aligned with industry security frameworks and risk management best practices. Assist with disaster recovery (DR) planning and business continuity initiatives, ensuring IT systems remain operational in the event of system failures. Provide feedback and support regarding new or existing projects.
