Onsite 3 days a week 2 days remote Duration -12 Month Job Description Solution Data Architect will be responsible for managing the organization's data throughout its lifecycle, from collection to storage to analysis; this includes data model design, database development standards, data warehouse, data lake, data analytics, data governance, quality, and security. The Data Architect will be responsible for modernizing the existing data warehouse, data lake, and BI systems, including defining and implementing data standards, guidelines, and best practices, and collaborating with IT and business teams to design and review data architectures. Essential Duties: Design solutions and guiding principles that align with organization data management initiatives. This includes understanding the business needs, challenges, and opportunities that can be addressed with data Provide guidelines to manage the full lifecycle of data, including data model design, database development standards, data lake, data warehouse, data analytics, data governance, quality, and security. Design data lake solutions that can store, catalog, and process large amounts of structured and unstructured data. Ensure data is readily accessible for analytics to support Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence applications Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures that ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with legal and business standards. Partner with other functions across IT (PM, BA, EA, Security, Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality, and timeliness of solutions Develop data strategies and help implement tools to enable business stakeholders to retrieve data, ensure data security and compliance with applicable regulations, including access restrictions, encryption, and privacy laws Implement and manage data stewardship principles, ensuring data throughout the organization is accurate, available, and secure Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to capture business concepts, relationships, and technical implementations Provide mentoring on advanced data concepts and technical capabilities to developers Define and implement data standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization Develop a comprehensive roadmap that outlines the key initiatives, milestones, and timelines for implementing the data strategy, principles, and practices Collaborate with Data and Information Security teams to develop and implement a data classification strategy that ensures data is categorized accurately, consistently, and in compliance with legal and business policies Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture with hands-on experience 10+ years of industry experience providing technical solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high-tech services using data and cloud technologies Proven experience with data lake technologies, data warehousing, data modeling, and data mesh Strong knowledge of analytics, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence platforms Experience in SAP would be highly advantageous. Understanding of cloud computing and data integration in a hybrid cloud environment. Advanced data integration experience with industry-standard integration products Strong experience with GCP and Azure data services, CI/CD, data storage, data analytics , Data Governance, and Machine Learning. (Big Query, Data lake, Data flow, Cloud Sql, Data Studio, Data Proc, AI platforms, Data Catalog and DLP,, Data Mesh and Data as Products, Cloud Security, Tableau ).
