A major focus of your role will be assisting in the migration from an on-premise system to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring both environments run seamlessly in parallel. You will implement GCP cloud-native services such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage, collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerization, and monitor system scalability, reliability, and security. Your responsibilities also include conducting performance optimizations, debugging issues, writing unit and integration tests, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentorship of junior developers, following best practices in software development, API design, and cloud security. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 8-10+ years of progressive professional experience in Java enterprise application development Experience with Java 8, 11-17 , and some projects in Java 21 Minimum 3+ years of GCP cloud development experience Experience supporting on-premise to GCP migration 1+ years experience in PL/PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cloud services Experience deploying applications on Cloud using Kubernetes Engine, etc. Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, etc. Experience with tools like Maven, Git, DevOps, etc. 5+ years experience developing microservices and messaging-based applications (Google Pub/Sub) Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services such as Istio, GKE, Pub/Sub, IAM services Experience with PostgreSQL Experience using Spring Framework 5.0 or later and Spring Boot Experience with cloud service monitoring and observability tools, including performance metrics dashboards Experience with APIGEE Familiarity with Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Experience in REST API development Experience with large datasets using PostgreSQL within GCP infrastructure Knowledge of PostgreSQL design principles , including query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels Experience managing development projects using Rally or Jira Must have experience in an Agile Scrum (SAFe) methodology environment -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card procedural language New York Local to NY/NJ || GCP Java Developer || USC & GC only [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2242919&uid= |
