Terraform Engineer Domain EXP(Healthcare Domain) LocationNashville, TN (Onsite) Job Description A Terraform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing infrastructure using Terraform, an Infrastructure as Code tool. Candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) principles, Dockers and Kubernetes. Responsible for designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-level Terraform architectures. Writing and maintaining Terraform code to automate the provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources across multiple cloud providers, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments; they often collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Design: Architecting cloud infrastructure using Terraform, considering scalability, security, and cost optimization. Defining infrastructure modules and reusable components to streamline deployments. Writing clean, well-documented Terraform code to provision cloud resources like servers, networks, storage, databases, and security groups. Implementing best practices for Terraform configuration management, including variable usage, state management, and version control. Proficiency with Git for managing Terraform code and tracking changes. Executing Terraform commands to provision and manage infrastructure across different cloud environments. Monitoring Terraform state files to track infrastructure changes and ensure consistency. Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Integrating Terraform into continuous integration and delivery pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning. Setting up automated testing frameworks to validate Terraform code before deployment. Working with DevOps teams to streamline infrastructure management and deployment processes. Collaborating with application developers to understand their infrastructure requirements. Deep understanding of Terraform syntax, state management, modules, and best practices.
