Position: Sr. ServiceNow Administrator

Location: Miramar, FL-Hybrid

Notes:

o            Moving ServiceNow in house across all ships (68 right now) and all brands

o            A major project for this team is deploying ServiceNow on all ships which is 68 separate instances and syncing in the cloud (new capability for ServiceNow is RPS, remote process sync).

o            Broad understanding of ServiceNowunderstand their services/umbrella, have a foundation of SNOW training and certifications

o            Infrastructure knowledge, know how to navigate Databasethey use Maria DB, SQL

o            Be able to give recommendationsexample:  if something is manual know how to automate

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Administrator to lead the administration and management of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities and will be responsible for optimizing system performance, implementing best practices, and mentoring junior administrators. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

            Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

            Lead the implementation of new modules, applications, and enhancements based on business requirements.

            Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and document technical specifications and workflows.

            Develop and enforce best practices for ServiceNow administration, including system security, user access, and data integrity.

            Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the ServiceNow platform, providing timely support to users.

            Conduct system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure the platform is up-to-date and secure.

            Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

            Provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.

            Monitor system performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

            Stay current with ServiceNow updates, features, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

            Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

            5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, with a proven track record of successful implementations and management.

            Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.

            Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX).

            Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.

            Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

            Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

** Preferred Qualifications: **

            ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

            Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified Implementation Specialist)

            Experience with ServiceNow integration tools and APIs.

            Knowledge of database management and SQL (MariaDB).

            Experience with ServiceNow Remote Process Synchronization.

            Experience with ServiceNow On-Prem instance implementation, management, and troubleshooting.
