ETL Automation Tester Location : Wilmington, DE (onsite 3-4 day a week) Duration 12-24mth + Must have : Strong Automation testing exp ETL database testing expertise Selenium Java SQL Job description: Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and Java to test ETL processes and the overall performance of our applications. Build and enhance automation frameworks that validate complex data transitions and processing pipelines. Develop automated tests to validate ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accurate processing across systems. Work closely with development and QA teams to identify, document, and troubleshoot issues in the data flow pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals to define test strategies, test cases, and requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect resolutions in accordance with Wells Fargos quality standards. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation and ETL testing. Propose and implement improvements to existing test frameworks and processes. Required Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in Selenium for automation testing and Java for developing robust test scripts. Hands-on experience with ETL processes, including the design and execution of automated tests to ensure data quality and process integrity. Solid understanding of automation frameworks, test management, and defect tracking systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in the financial services or banking industry is highly desirable. Background in software development with a transition into testing, leveraging technical expertise to enhance testing methodologies. Knowledge of SQL and database testing practices is a plus.
