Title: SAP Basis Team Lead Duration: 6 Months Location: Charlotte, NC Candidate must have LinkedIn and need local to Charlotte location only. We need an immediate backfill for an SAP Basis Lead position. This will be onsite in Charlotte and they prefer someone who is already local so please start there first. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor the SAP Basis team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. System Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring optimal system performance and stability. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure the availability and reliability of SAP systems. Upgrades and Patches: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain the SAP landscape and support business requirements. Security Management: Implement and manage security policies and procedures to protect SAP systems and data from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP Basis processes, system configurations, and operational procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with functional and technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment of SAP Basis activities with business goals. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with SAP Basis advancements, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve system performance and business processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.). Strong understanding of database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, etc.). Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows, Unix) and virtualization technologies. Knowledge of SAP security, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies. Technical Skills: Project Experience: Proven experience leading SAP Basis projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
