Job Type:  ContractKey Responsibilities:
Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to enable the safe landing of data into Amazon Neptune, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Database Hydration: Manage the process of hydrating Neptune databases, ensuring data is properly ingested and structured for efficient querying and analysis.
Data Modeling: Design and implement data models that leverage the graph database structure of Neptune for advanced analytics and querying.
Infrastructure Setup: Assist in enabling and optimizing cloud infrastructure from scratch, specifically for graph analytics on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues related to data ingestion, querying, or infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cloud and data teams to implement solutions and best practices for utilizing Neptune for graph-based data storage and analysis.
Documentation: Provide detailed documentation for Neptune database setup, data models, and processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Competencies:
Digital Expertise: Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing, data concepts, and data modeling.
Graph Database Expertise: In-depth experience with NoSQL GraphDB technologies, specifically Amazon Neptune.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to database setup, data hydration, and performance optimization.
Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience: 6-8 years of experience working with Amazon Neptune or other graph databases, with hands-on experience in database hydration and data modeling.
Neptune Database Expertise: Proven experience enabling Neptune database instances, managing data ingestion processes, and optimizing data models for efficient querying.
Data Modeling: Solid experience in data modeling, specifically with NoSQL or graph databases, for complex data structures and analytics.
AWS Cloud Computing: Strong working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services that interact with Neptune for cloud-based data storage and analytics.
Graph Analytics: Experience enabling cloud infrastructure for graph analytics, leveraging Neptune's capabilities for advanced data analysis.Desirable Skills:
Cloud Infrastructure Setup: Experience in enabling and optimizing cloud infrastructure for graph analytics from scratch, especially on AWS.
Other GraphDB Technologies: Familiarity with other NoSQL or GraphDB technologies outside of Neptune, such as Neo4j, Amazon DynamoDB, or ArangoDB.
AWS Certifications: AWS certifications related to data management or cloud architecture would be an advantage.
Advanced Analytics: Familiarity with graph analytics tools and techniques, including pathfinding, community detection, and graph algorithms.
