  Goal - Reach larger health plans and smaller heath plans

  They need to drive the cost down, level of configuration to set up Miramar tools themselves (for smaller health plans)

Convey is looking to onboard up to 6 Business Analysts (BA) to support the new Miramar Re-Engineering Project, which focuses on enhancing system configurations to drive efficiency, optimize implementation efforts, and reduce PMPM costs.  Any Analysts with a track record of successfully delivering similar process improvements will be highly beneficial to this initiative.

            Convey uses Miramar enterprise technology platform, it accepts enrollments from all sources, CMS eligibility verification process

            Miramar aggregates everything into one platform, robust suite of digital experience to handle heathcare needs

            Convey Health Solutions is a private company that provides technology and analytics services for health plans like Medicare and Medicaid.

Following are the key qualifications client is seeking:

Business Analyst Qualifications

1.       Industry Expertise:

o Strong background in Medicare (MA, MAPD, PDP) within both individual and employer group plans.

o Experience with employer eligibility file processing implementations.

2.       Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in writing detailed system configuration requirements and defining process automation strategies.

o Ability to collaborate with development teams to enable additional system configurations via UI for automation.

3.       UX and Design:

o Familiarity with high-level UX design principles.

o Experience in creating wireframes and markup diagrams to support system design discussions.

4.       Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, operations, and client teams to gather, document, and validate requirements.

5.       Preferred Experience:

o Knowledge of eligibility processing workflows and file structures in the Medicare or employer group plan space.

o Experience in implementing solutions that align with compliance requirements and industry standards.

6.       Soft Skills:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

Job Description:

The IT Business Analyst solves organizational information problems by analyzing requirements; designing system enhancements; recommending system controls and protocols. Working closely with business representatives and information technology teams, business analyst will translate business needs into effective process and software designs, helping business achieve its objectives using process and technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

  Initiates, participates and facilitates data modeling, process modeling and solution modeling

  Designs and documents software solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications as needed

  Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.

  Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.

  Develops testing scenarios and assists with user acceptance testing for system and process changes

  Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.

  Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  Investigate service related issues to identify root cause of issues; identify and communicate business needs assessments as necessary.

  Keeps abreast of trends and issues in the government healthcare insurance space.

  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE               

                     Bachelors degree in computer science, industrial engineering, business, or operations management

                     Minimum of five to seven years of experience in similar role

                     A solid history of leading development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting technologists is required.

                     Experience in Healthcare Insurance Enrollment and Membership Services environment, with government sponsored program experience a big plus
