Please mention Visa status and Current location while sharing resume Job Title- SQL Server Architect / DBA Architect Location: NYC, NY (100% Onsite) Type: : Long Term Contract Interview: Direct End Revised JD for SQL Server Architect: Role: A SQL Server Architect responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server technology, ensuring optimal data integrity, accessibility, and performance by creating robust database architectures aligned with business needs and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Database Design and Architecture: Analyse business requirements to design efficient and scalable database models on SQL Server platform. Implement database normalization and data partitioning strategies. Design High Availability Solutions by configuring Always On Availability using Windows Failover clustering Design Disaster Recovery solutions by configuring Clustering, Replication, Log-shipping and Mirroring Performance Optimization: Monitor database performance metrics and identify bottlenecks Analyse and optimize SQL queries to improve execution speed Implement indexing strategies to enhance query performance Conduct database tuning and capacity planning Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with application developers to understand data requirements and integrate database solutions Provide technical guidance and support to database administrators and other stakeholders Lead database migration projects to new platforms or cloud environments Required Skills: Expert knowledge of SQL Server database management system (DBMS) including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques Proficient in Clustering, Replication, Log-shipping, Mirroring and Always On Availability groups Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions like Azure SQL Database Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Your sincerely , Ajay Sharma | Sr. Technical Recruiter.
