Title : Business Analyst Location: Richmond, VA Position Type: Hybrid, 4 days per week onsite Contract Length: 7 months Position Overview: The Business Analyst supports the client's Electronic Health Records (EHR) l program by collaborating with clinical staff and IT leaders to translate clinician requirements into coordinated EHR specifications. With experience in clinical/health environments and familiarity with HL7 standards (V2, CDA, FHIR), this role contributes to the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Health IT solutions, ensuring compliance with project management standards and optimizing system performance for operational effectiveness. Duties: Collaborate with clinical staff and IT leaders to translate clinician requirements into coordinated specifications for the EHR solution and support its successful implementation. Analyze clinical processes, workflows, and related artifacts to define Health IT requirements that align with strategic goals and mission objectives. Ensure EHR system compliance with HL7 standards, including Version 2 (V2), Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), to enhance interoperability and data exchange. Monitor system response times, service levels, and operational effectiveness while implementing downtime readiness procedures and ensuring compliance with project management standards. Contribute to the planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Health IT solutions, addressing problem resolution, production support, and system administration tasks. Required Skills: 4 years of experience with requirements elicitation/documentation/analysis/tracking 4 years of experience with Systems/Integration/UAT Testing - including planning, execution, resolution, reporting 4 years of experience with Process/Workflow Engineering/Analysis - including workflow diagramming (Visio), use case documentation, policy/procedure analysis 3 years of experience with Large System Implementation - complex solutions and integrations 4 years of experience with MS Office/365 Experience 4 years of experience with Agile & Waterfall Methodology Excellent Verbal/Written Communication Preferred Skills: 3 years of experience leading workgroups 3 years of Health System Experience - clinical setting working directly with healthcare staff, understanding of HIPAA regulations 3 years of experience defining Schedules/Milestones/Metrics Regards _______________________________ Suryangi Resource Consultings Services Inc.
