Title: EDI Developer with SQL SSRS Location: Remote Duration: 12 Month Visa:H4,GC EAD,GC and USC Excellent comm skills LinkedIn required Seeking an experienced Database/EDI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software application databases and EDI/B2B data transfer maps. This role involves working closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical specifications while ensuring database integrity, security, and performance. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with strong SQL development skills and experience in database architecture. Qualifications: Technical Skills & Experience: 8+ years of SQL development experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. Strong knowledge of software and SQL Server architecture. Advanced hands-on experience with SQL Server 2017 (SQL Server 2019/2022 experience is a plus). Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Strong database design skills and understanding of the software development lifecycle. Experience with EDI X12 is a strong plus. Experience with EDIFecs and Actian Data Integrator is a plus. Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Analysis Services is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, MSF) is a strong plus. Knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ General Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proven track record of delivering software products on time and within budget. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize workflows and automate processes. Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities efficiently. Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Testing Requirements: Required: Programming Concepts SQL Server 2017 for Developers SQL Server 2017 Integration Services Key Responsibilities: Database & EDI Development: Design, develop, test, and deliver software modules for workers compensation, bill review, bill repricing, and claims processing. Develop and maintain databases to improve efficiency, data processing, and reporting accuracy. Implement new database solutions and features, ensuring performance, integrity, security, and compatibility. Perform database design, ensuring adherence to relational database principles and application requirements. Develop and maintain EDI solutions, including implementing new setups, designing client-specific EDI requirements, and maintaining existing data maps. Analyze new data formats and define processes for data loading into applications. Maintain and coordinate database build scripts and implement process automation for database maintenance. Develop reusable unit and integration testing tools to improve software quality. Troubleshoot database performance issues and assist Technical Services in resolving escalated issues. Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to ensure business needs are met through technical solutions. Maintain technical specifications, software design documentation, and release notes while adhering to development standards and compliance requirements. General Responsibilities: Provide input for development timelines and deliver high-quality software within scheduled milestones. Ensure tasks align with company priorities and maintain a high level of customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
