Job Title: Mainframe Tester Location: GA Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing mainframe applications, ensuring software quality, and troubleshooting defects.Key Responsibilities: Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing on mainframe applications. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Work with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and other mainframe technologies. Analyze test results and report defects using defect tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in mainframe testing with tools like JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM. Strong knowledge of batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP). Hands-on experience with SQL queries for database validation. Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA). Familiarity with automation testing tools for mainframe (if applicable). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
