Responsibilities include to architect, design, develop, and support new and existing solutions on the AJG Salesforce environments. This role will act as a Salesforce platform expert and guide AJG to apply best practices and leverage its core capabilities. With a broad background, the developer will be comfortable discussing and demonstrating all aspects of the force.com platform including security and declarative/programmatic extensions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team members. Define best practices, design patterns, and development standards to ensure the solution is scalable, maintainable, and follows Salesforce Sales Cloud best practices. Provide guidance and support to the development team during the implementation phase. Review and validate the technical design, provide code reviews, and ensure the solution is implemented as per the design. Serve as a Salesforce Application Developer collaborating with customers on the planning, documenting, developing, and implementing of projects. Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and user guides. They will ensure the documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the relevant stakeholders. Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and maintain existing Visualforce based on specific requirements to implement and support business requirements. Development of custom User Interface using Lightning Web Components, Aura Components. Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as Azure Data Factory, Power BI, AMS/MDM Solutions. Collaborate with the Salesforce Systems Administrator on all projects to determine the optimal technical solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform. Provide Salesforce technical leadership for onshore and offshore teams of software and quality engineers. Communicate with other team members and internal users regarding project status, technical issues, and creative solutions. Work as a member of a project team building new functionality and enhancing existing functionality Provide insight into AppExchange products and other technologies that may be effectively leveraged for use within AJG Communicate and enforces coding standards.
