Im Lakkumanan from DataCaliper, this is regarding the job opening for Sr. Data Engineer - Remote I look forward to hearing from you Job Title : Sr. Data Engineer Location : Remote Type : Contract | Note - Candidate must have to do coding test Need minimum 12 years of experience mandatory Position Purpose: The Senior Data Engineer contributes and leads the design, development, integrations, and management of Echos large scale data solutions while supporting the strategic architectural vision of quality, scalability, performance, and function. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, integrate, and manage Echos large scale data solutions including data storage, data modelling, ETL, data querying, and reporting Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the data engineering community Deliver robust cloud-based solutions and migrate solutions from SQL Server. Lead in the research, evaluation, operational usage and building of relational and non-SQL solutions Utilize programming languages like Python, PySpark and a variety of AWS tools and services Mandatory skills: At least 10 years of professional data engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply) 5+ years of experience in at least 2 of the following modern languages: .Net, Python, T-SQL, PostgresSQL 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service 2+ years of experience in Open Source frameworks 2+ years of experience in Agile practices Experience with AWS Aurora\\Redshift Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and a variety of AWS tools and services. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
