Job Title: GCP Data Engineer Location: Bellevue, WA Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate GCP Data Engineer to join our team in [City, TX]. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions that drive business insights. Responsibilities: GCP Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using GCP services like Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer. Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. Implement data quality checks and monitoring. Automate data pipeline deployments using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. GCP Data Storage and Management: Design and implement data storage solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. Optimize data storage for performance and cost-effectiveness. Manage data lifecycle and retention policies. Implement data security and access controls. GCP Data Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy GCP data infrastructure using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Monitor and optimize GCP data infrastructure performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve GCP data infrastructure issues. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to understand data requirements. Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively. Participate in code reviews and design discussions. Document data engineering processes and best practices.
