This is not only in End user computing but the associate should have exposure to network, Active directory and should be able to troubleshoot across all the eco system. In short, we are looking for a technical architect with a very good troubleshooting skills in Network, End user computing, Active directory Etc. Position Overview We are seeking a service-minded Senior Windows Engineer (L4) with specialized expertise in supporting shared shopfloor endpoints. This role is crucial for overseeing and modernizing endpoint management across a global, regulated pharmaceutical and medical devices environment. The focus is on managing Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints, including complex Operational Technology systems, and driving the transition from legacy (SCCM, GPOs) to modern (Intune, Autopilot, Entra) solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a data-driven mindset, excel in cross-functional collaboration, and be comfortable providing final-tier (L4) escalation support for critical Windows issues. Experience with Linux (Ubuntu) at an L2 level, Tableau reporting, and IT support in manufacturing or lab environments is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Windows Engineering & Troubleshooting (L4) Serve as the final escalation point for complex endpoint and OS issues in a large-scale enterprise. Troubleshoot interactions between Windows devices, networks, firewalls, and Active Directory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, AD, InfoSec, etc.) to ensure seamless system performance. Endpoint Management & Modernization Govern enterprise endpoints using SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, and Entra, ensuring security and compliance. Maintain and optimize Group Policy Objects (GPOs), leading the transition from traditional to modern management practices. Oversee basic deployment and reporting tasks through SCCM, leveraging data-driven analysis for continuous improvement. Cloud & Virtual Desktop Deploy and support Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop solutions. Integrate zero-trust frameworks and security baselines in partnership with InfoSec. Provisioning & Automation Oversee imaging and deployments for both traditional (SCCM, GPO) and modern (Intune, Autopilot) provisioning methods. Develop Power scripts and other automation tools to streamline processes and reduce errors. Regulatory Compliance & ITIL Operate under GxP guidelines, ensuring strict adherence to documentation and validation requirements. Follow ITIL best practices (Change, Incident, Request, Problem, Knowledge) in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. IT Support in Manufacturing/OT Environments Provide hands-on and remote support within manufacturing and Operational Technology (OT) settings. Focus on supporting shared manufacturing systems, which are critical to production and not typical end-user systems. Ensure alignment with pharmaceutical compliance and safety protocols. Reporting & Analytics Utilize Tableau or similar BI tools to create data visualizations and actionable insights. Communicate findings to stakeholders, championing a data-driven mindset across the organization. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Partner with global and regional teams to standardize endpoint management processes. Identify opportunities to enhance reliability, security, and user experience through technology and process innovation. Embrace emerging technologies and champion an automation-first culture. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of hands-on experience in Windows engineering in large, enterprise-scale environments. Proven track record resolving complex OS, network, and infrastructure challenges. Experience supporting shared OT systems. Technical Proficiency Expert in SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Entra, and Active Directory/GPO management. Familiarity with Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop solutions. Strong Power scripting or comparable automation skills. Competency in BI tools for reporting. Knowledge of networking and firewall fundamentals. Regulatory & ITIL Knowledge GxP or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred. Practical exposure to ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow (or similar ITSM) tools. Soft Skills Service-Minded Approach: Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer support. Data-Driven Mindset: Analytical approach for continuous process improvement.
