Essential Skills: Experience: - 10+ years of experience in database architecture, modeling, and administration. - Successfully led 3+ large-scale database projects, covering the key responsibilities outlined above. - Extensive experience with 3NF normalization (dozens of projects) and dimensional modeling (2+ projects). - Hands-on experience with operational databases like Aurora PostgreSQL and analytical databases like Snowflake. - Proven track record of working with large engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of relational databases, cloud-based databases, and data modeling concepts. - Familiarity with ETL development and data integration processes. - Experience working with modeling tools like Erwin - Experience working with database monitoring tools like Datadog. - Experience with SaaS platforms like Guidewire platform is a plus Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
