The candidate will be responsible for data modeling, ETL development, cloud migration, and optimizing database performance. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to technical roadmaps, and ensuring best practices in data engineering. Responsibilities: Design and develop ETL processes with a focus on performance and scalability. Work with databases like Teradata and DB2 to build and optimize data models. Support cloud migration efforts (AWS/Azure/Hadoop) for on-prem applications. Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database solutions. Develop RESTful APIs and apply SOA principles. Ensure data integrity, governance, and automation of testing. Collaborate with development teams and mentor junior members. Required Skills: Strong ETL development experience (Java preferred). Proficiency in Teradata, DB2, and database performance tuning. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Hadoop). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
