[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: .Net Architect Location: Washington, DC Roles and Responsibilities: Define and document the overall architecture for .NET applications, considering scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Create architectural diagrams, specifications, and design documents. Ensure Design meet standards and user requirements. Develop objects that are necessary for the project implementation. Provide technical guidance to development teams. Collaborate with other technical teams and architecture teams to ensure the design standards are followed and sign offs are obtained. Lead technical discussions and facilitate decision-making. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions. Design and implement cloud-based .NET solutions on platforms like Azure and AWS. Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment. Design and implement solutions that meet performance and scalability requirements. Conduct performance testing and identify bottlenecks. Optimize database performance and query efficiency. Implement caching strategies and other performance-enhancing techniques. Design for high availability and disaster recovery. Design and implement secure .NET applications, adhering to industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms. Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities. Skills and Experience: 5+ years of working experience with Investran PCS and earlier version (Must for this role) Deep understanding of distributed automation and o rchestration platforms (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, AWS Step Functions, etc.). Proficiency in developing complex, event-driven workflows using .NET and cloud-native services, including robust exception handling and error management. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure architecture, service scalability, and high-availability patterns in Azure or AWS. Strong proficiency in .NET (C#), cloud-native development, and related programming concepts (asynchronous programming, parallel processing, etc.). Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based automation solutions using serverless architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in analyzing business processes and designing .NET-based solutions to automate financial and accounting tasks. Proven ability to create comprehensive technical design documents, architectural diagrams, and API specifications using tools like Visio or cloud-native diagramming services. Ability to evaluate and select appropriate .NET frameworks, cloud services, and integration technologies for financial and accounting applications. Extensive experience managing complex .NET and cloud application development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Ability to develop detailed project plans, manage distributed development teams (including offshore/onsite models), and track progress using agile methodologies. Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with .NET and cloud application deployments, particularly in sensitive financial environments. Extensive experience in developing large-scale .NET applications for finance and accounting domains, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. Experience working with distributed teams in an offshore/onsite model. 8+ years of experience as a .NET and cloud architect, with deep expertise in financial systems, integration methodologies, and cloud-native development Extensive experience in designing and implementing integrations between financial systems (e.g., iPortal, IRP, EPMS) using APIs, message queues, and other integration patterns.
