Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Data Engineer with QA experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data ingestion and manipulation, advanced quality assurance (QA) tasks, and experience with ETL processes. This role requires proficiency in advanced SQL writing, working knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS), and cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks is essential. Key Responsibilities: As a Data Engineer, ingest, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights. Perform advanced QA tasks, including: Data validation and verification Regression testing Performance testing E2E testing Automation of test cases Design, develop, and execute ETL processes to ensure data integrity and consistency. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Conduct data profiling to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Implement QA automation frameworks to streamline testing processes. Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and accuracy. Provide technical support and guidance to team members on data-related issues. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent work experience 5+ years of Experience as a Data Engineer working with SSIS, Alteryx, Informatica, Databricks, SQL, RDBMS and Snowflake Proficient in UNIX, Linux, in Scripting (Batch//Java Script). 4 years of experience in a data quality review process including UAT Testing, Regression Testing and Automation Testing Proven experience with requirements gathering and analysis techniques Proven experience with defect tracking, testing techniques, and use of testing tools Competent to work on complex projects independently Ability to think strategically (outside-the-box) and provide creative solutions Ability to frame problems and opportunities to present solutions. Hands on Experience in UAT Testing, Regression Testing and Automation Testing Preferred Qualifications Experience with or understanding of HEDIS Star measures Experience with or understanding of the Medicare and Retirement and/or Community and State lines of business Knowledge in Dashboard tools (Tableau/Cognos/Business Objects/Power BI).
