Role Overview This person will be expected to manage a wide variety of smaller projects with a technical mindset. The Technical Project Manager should have a breath of knowledge around different systems and applications and how they work together at an enterprise level. This person will coordinate various ERP / integration environment configurations, including user access and security, among others; will coordinate various infrastructure related projects. The is a technical project management role; in addition to a demonstrated track record in formal project management, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of environment management strategies for Production and lower environments. Responsibilities and Skill Set Must have a technical acumen; however, will not need to be hands on in a technical manner Ability to help lead the implementation of a large, enterprise-wide application Will be expected to be able to distinguish inaccurate technical information Must have strong organizational skills; organize themselves and the teams they are working with and supporting Ideal candidate will not be targeting a very structured environment; they will be expected to develop their own organized process and structure that follow the Program Governance guidelines Ability to decipher chaotic situations Ability to be the bridge between the business stakeholders and IT stakeholders Ability to be somewhat of a generalist within major areas of IT; infrastructure, integration, security, strategy etc. Ideal candidate will have experience with an ERP implementation, however experience with any large-scale implementation is a must Ability to build a project plan, drive the project plan, hold meetings around the project plan, and successfully see the project plan through the finish line Manage, track, and maintain environment integrations and application versions for every environment, production, and lower environments Manage and maintain configuration change management processes across environments Implement and maintain access and code release controls throughout the environments Develop and manage non-production environment and data refresh strategies Manage and maintain the overall project tasks and timeline; ensure all project milestone dates are agreed upon and achieved Track and manage the inventory of applications, versions, and specs for all integrations and systems Knowledge and work experience with tracking and managing mixed environments with SaaS and on-premises applications Experience with infrastructure, infrastructure security, and high availability topics Nice to have: Proficiency in planning, tracking, and managing projects in JIRA Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools and applications such as Teams, Skype, and Planner is a plus Keywords: information technology http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=225668&uid= |
