Role -: EMV Project Manager Location- : Riverwood , IL Need Local candidate only with local DL. We are seeking an experienced EMV Project Manager to lead and oversee projects in the EMV and Payment Services domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing EMV implementations, payment processing systems, and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead end-to-end EMV and payment service projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with banks, payment processors, acquirers, and vendors to drive successful project execution. EMV Compliance & Certification: Ensure projects adhere to EMVCo, PCI DSS, and card network regulations. Technical Oversight: Work with development teams to implement EMV chip technology, contactless payments, and payment gateway integrations. Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with EMV migration, certification, and security compliance. Testing & Deployment: Oversee EMV Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 certification processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Process Optimization: Improve payment service workflows, transaction security, and fraud prevention mechanisms. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, progress reports, and stakeholder updates. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience in EMV and Payment Services. Strong understanding of payment processing systems, card scheme regulations, and EMV certifications. Experience managing POS terminals, ATMs, NFC/contactless payments, and payment gateway integrations. Familiarity with ISO 8583, PCI DSS, cryptographic security, and HSM (Hardware Security Module). Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover payment networks. Hands-on experience with payment terminals, EMV key management, and tokenization solutions. Background in banking, fintech, or payment technology companies.
