The candidate must be able to coordinate and support on the implementation. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced MES Specialist to support and optimize the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The MES Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between MES and ERP systems, enhancing production efficiency, and providing real-time visibility into manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, manufacturing process knowledge, and experience in deploying MES solutions to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: 1. MES System Implementation and Configuration Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of MES in a manufacturing environment. Customize MES applications to support shop floor operations, including production scheduling, quality management, and real-time data collection. Collaborate with production and IT teams to ensure MES aligns with business and manufacturing goals. Define and configure production workflows, work instructions, and data capture points. 2. Manufacturing Process Optimization Analyze production data and system performance to identify and eliminate bottlenecks. Optimize production scheduling and work order management through MES configuration. Support manufacturing teams in implementing continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. Enhance real-time visibility into production processes to improve decision-making. 3. Troubleshooting and Support Provide hands-on support for MES-related issues and system outages. Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between MES, ERP, and shop floor systems. Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. Develop and maintain system backups and disaster recovery procedures. 4. Documentation and Training Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configuration, process flows, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training to manufacturing teams and key users on MES functionality and best practices. Develop user-friendly guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
