This is a senior-level role requiring someone highly independent, organized, and proactive in driving security assessments. Job Description - Sr. Product Security Engineer - This role is 100% remote but candidates must be willing to work on Central Standard Time (CST) and be based in the US. The ideal candidate must have expertise in IEC 62443 controls, specifically from a manufacturer's perspectiveensuring products meet certification standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct requirements-based security assessments, evaluating compliance with approximately 100 security requirements. Review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and security controls. Conduct interviews with teams to validate security implementation. Provide clear justifications for assessment conclusions. Technical Requirements: 5+ years of experience in embedded systems security & IoT device security. Deep knowledge of hardware security, OS internals, cryptography, wire protocols, real-time embedded systems, and Linux SoC solutions. Strong background in IoT device security and cloud security for IoT systems. Expertise in IoT protocols such as MQTT. Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes). Strong understanding of secure communication protocols (TLS), identity management, and data encryption. Familiarity with industry security frameworks (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27402) and regulatory compliance for IoT devices. Preferred certifications: CISSP, GICSP, CEH.
