Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience in project management, with a strong background in EHR applications, data migration, and workflow analysis. Certification in Project Management or Scrum Master is a plus. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of the project. They will work closely with business owners, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of the EHR system while following best practices and industry standards. This role requires a high degree of creativity, independence, and leadership to manage complex tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project documentation, including business case workbooks, project charters, schedules, and operating plans. Lead requirements gathering, planning, reporting, and research activities. Oversee vendor management, ensuring best practices for application and data migration. Develop data conversion, migration plans, and implementation strategies. Act as a liaison between business users and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution. Coordinate with stakeholders to optimize operations and provide recommendations. Analyze complex issues, devise solutions, and prepare concise reports. Conduct regular status meetings and provide written and verbal updates to leadership. Manage data migration activities and ensure seamless application implementation. Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including leadership, staff, and external vendors. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects, including EHR implementations or similar large-scale applications. Extensive experience with database technologies such as InterSystems Cach, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong proficiency with project management tools like MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and Jira. Expertise in workflow analysis, SDLC artifacts development, and software engineering best practices. Proven ability to manage application migration, data mapping, and data cleaning efforts. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to guide teams and promote collaboration. Experience providing progress updates to stakeholders and using ticketing systems for issue resolution. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with SaaS-based EHR systems and cloud data migrations. Familiarity with HHSC Federal and State processes and documentation. PMP Certification.
