Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Modeler to design and maintain scalable data models supporting business intelligence, data integration, and cloud-based data warehousing solutions. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure data structures meet business and technical needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop data models for relational databases and cloud data warehouses on AWS. - Gather data requirements and translate them into effective models. - Optimize database structures for performance and scalability. - Implement cloud-based data solutions using AWS services like Redshift, S3, Glue, and RDS. - Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and ensure alignment with governance standards. - Support ETL processes and troubleshoot data-related issues. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. from a US University is required - 5+ years of data modeling experience in relational databases. - Proficiency in AWS Cloud services and data warehousing concepts. - Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data governance best practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with NoSQL databases and big data technologies. - AWS Certification and familiarity with Python for data processing. - Knowledge of metadata management and data cataloging tools.
