C++ Developer (7+ yrs experience)
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Work Mode: C2H

We are seeking a C++ Developer whose primary focus will be on software development for our Merchandising and Schedules engines.

Strong Knowledge of Open telemetry (to push logs).
What you will do:
Write, test and troubleshoot code utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
Investigate bugs, test and develop code fixes/modifications.
Implement new functionality to satisfy customer requirements.
Work with business subject matter experts to document and develop necessary solutions.
Program routines to parse and store input data in a variety of proprietary formats.
Utilize development IDE tools such as Visual Studio Profiler to optimize code and prepare for deployment in high scale environments.

Your Experience:
Working towards Bachelor's degree preferable in Computer Science / Engineering.
Some development experience in C/C++.
Debugging and troubleshooting, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of common SDLC methodologies.
Knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems and tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
. Knowledge of Cloud (AWS) is a plus.
. Knowledge of Linux is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

Skills Include:
Have strong engineering experience in building scalable, resilient, and observable micro services with GNU C++.
Debugging and troubleshooting, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of common SDLC methodologies.
Knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems and tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience in building and deploying high throughput low latency systems using c++
Have strong knowledge in software engineering practices (CI/CD, Test Driven Development, Agile)
Have ability to work with Business teams and build a technical implementable design for developers.
Have strong track record in building high efficient code on linux C++ platforms
Self-motivated and organized to create artifacts required in timely. Fashion by interacting with multiple teams in the organization.
Ability to read the code and debug c++ programs.
Capable of implementing proof of concepts to understand which technology works and clearly articulate the decisions.
Excellent communication skills and summarize things as needed.
