http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2262810&uid= From: Prabhat, VYZEINC pupadhyay@vyzeinc.com Reply to: pupadhyay@vyzeinc.com Job Description - Job Title: VMware Systems Administrator Location: New York City, NY , NJ , CT (Onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description : Scope of Work The candidate specific duties will include: Plan, design, install, configure, secure, maintain, and support all Wintel-based Physical/Virtual Servers and Storage Infrastructure Analyze, monitor server resources utilization to ensure optimum server/storage performance by alleviating the bottlenecks Create, test, implement, and maintain standard image for Servers Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures, archive schedules in coordination with the Data Protection Services Engineers Ensure that all Changes to the environment adheres to established Change Management policies and Procedures Maintain disaster recovery configurations and Disaster recovery documentation and procedures in support of the Virtualization Infrastructure Work closely with various Teams/Groups and other System Administrators to resolve reported issues Evaluate new systems and applications requirements in related to server and storage requirements Create and maintain Developed Systems Solutions Architecture Diagrams using MS Visio Develop comprehensive project plans for Wintel/Storage projects. Develops timelines and work breakdown structures Setup and monitor system alerts to provide 24x7 support and high availability Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot technical issues Follow communications protocol for system failures/outages and file incident reports Escalate major hardware/software problems to senior IT staff Respond to Service Desk tickets for technical support ensuring timely follow up and resolution Prepare system configurations and management/support documentation Available to work after hours and weekends as needed Qualifications Must have 5 years proven experience as a Systems Administrator in Planning, Designing, Configuring, and Managing VMware Virtual servers environment and storage infrastructure Must be VMware Certified, at least, with the VCTA VMware Certified Technical Associate Data Center Must have extensive knowledge of Virtualization Technologies in General, not only limited to VMware Products Must have extensive knowledge of High Available Environments running on Virtualized Infrastructure Must have extensive knowledge of Server and Storage Hardware Must have worked with Hardware provided by Vendors like HP (Hewlett Packard) and Cisco Working experience with the following Products and Technologies: Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, VMWare vSphere, Unix/Linux, NetApp, Windows file system and directory management, Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SFTP, Security Diagnostics Tools, Domain structures, User authentication, User entitlements, Data Management, Password management, McAfee & CrowdStrike Network Security, Centrify PAM, Power scripting Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing and resolving technical (hardware, software) problems Strong interpersonal skills, and customer service skills; Ability to multitask and perform in a high-paced/high-pressure environment Ability to work independently or within a group to solve complex problems Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus Keywords: information technology hewlett packard microsoft Connecticut New Jersey New York VMware Systems Administrator pupadhyay@vyzeinc.com http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2262810&uid= |
