Please find the details below: Position Details: Title: MTS Consultant Location: Hybrid Chicago, IL (3 days onsite) Duration: Long-term contract Experience: 10 to 14 years Must-Have Skills: IBM MQ Oracle (high-level experience) Unix Scripting (hands-on experience) ACI MTS Support Experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Development experience Job Summary/Responsibilities: Lead the support team and manage MTS product configurations and support activities Develop and maintain applications using IBM MQ, Oracle, Unix Scripting, and ACI MTS Ensure system reliability and performance through regular maintenance and updates Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications and systems Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in team meetings and discussions Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role Strong technical skills in IBM MQ, Oracle, Unix Scripting, and ACI MTS Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation Solid understanding of system performance optimization techniques Experience in implementing security measures to protect sensitive data Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model Experience in conducting thorough testing of applications Strong commitment to quality and performance standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues If you are interested, please reply with your updated resume.
