Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Application Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently to support and maintain critical business applications. This role requires expertise in software integrations, infrastructure, and publishing processes, along with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and vendors to drive system updates and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and maintenance for enterprise applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

Independently troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working closely with internal teams and vendors as needed.

Draft and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications, change requests, and approval routing.

Collaborate with stakeholders to solicit and document business and technical requirements, and design/build solutions to meet those needs.

Manage and oversee system updates across Development, Test, and Production environments, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, Security, Database, Testing, and Quality teams, to support application updates and enhancements.

Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of application support and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a similar technical role.

Strong understanding of software integrations and infrastructure.

Proficiency with ServiceNow, document management systems, AWS, and Lorenz docuBridge software.

Experience with the general publishing process.

Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

Familiarity with compliance and quality standards in a regulated environment.
