Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus. Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Formal Education bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Must have 7+ years applied experience. Hands-on practical experience in Java& JEE stack including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other spring modules. Experience in AWS/Azure, React, Python or NodeJS Experience serving as a technical lead on large scale applications with a grasp of high-level enterprise architecture and software design. Extensive experience building RESTful APIs and must have strong understanding of Microservices, event driven architecture, REST architecture. Experience with public cloud (AWS)/private cloud (PCF)/Azure Hands-on experience with services like S3, DynamoDB, EKS, SQS, MSK, KMS, ALB/NLB, Kinesis Data Streams, Eventbridge, Lambdas, ApiGateway is a huge plus. Hand-on experience with CI/CD, Devops best practices, writing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/Sceptre. Experience in BDD test automation frameworks AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification Experience in Reactive Java implementations would be a plus. Experience with Python, Glue Jobs is a plus.
