In this role, you will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and ensuring the quality, integrity, and accessibility of data within our healthcare analytics systems. As a Data Steward, you will work closely with data teams, business analysts, and IT stakeholders to ensure that data is properly organized, classified, and maintained for analysis and decision-making purposes. This role is vital in ensuring that healthcare data is handled securely and is made available for actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of healthcare data across various systems. Collaborate with data teams to define data standards, policies, and procedures for data management. Act as the subject matter expert in data governance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Manage the lifecycle of data, from acquisition to utilization, ensuring its availability and quality. Perform regular data quality checks, identify issues, and work with teams to resolve discrepancies. Work with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business needs and regulatory requirements. Provide support in the documentation and maintenance of data definitions, metadata, and data flow models. Assist in the integration of healthcare data from multiple sources to ensure data consistency and accessibility. Support analytics teams by ensuring clean, structured, and accessible data for reporting and decision-making. Competencies: Data & Analytics in Healthcare: A strong understanding of healthcare data management and analytics methodologies. Experience (Years): 2-4 years of experience in data stewardship or data management, preferably in the healthcare industry. Essential Skills: Proven experience as a Data Steward or similar role, managing data quality and integrity. Strong knowledge of data governance practices and policies. Familiarity with healthcare data management standards, including regulatory requirements (HIPAA, etc.). Ability to manage data across multiple systems and sources to ensure consistency. Proficient in using data management tools and data analytics platforms. Desirable Skills: Experience with healthcare-specific data models (e.g., HL7, ICD-10, SNOMED). Knowledge of healthcare analytics and reporting tools. Familiarity with data integration tools and platforms.
