If you are highly motivated and goal oriented, can handle interruptions while fluidly switching between several projects, and has a work smart not harder approach, this job will be ideal. Responsibilities: Work within the group maintaining and developing Infrastructure Develop and extend tools to maintain and monitor deployments. Assess, document, present, and execute project assignments. Evaluate and recommend commercial and open-source software. Automate complex processes. Escalation point of contact to answer system related questions. Train and Mentor team members, system administrators and operators. Provide production support. Requirements: 4+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, strong understanding of Linux OS. BASH or other scripting knowledge 5+ years of experience working with VERITAS NetBackup including Flex Appliances and Cloud Storage 2+ years of Veritas IT Analytics experience including installation and administration 3+ years of Quantum Tape Systems 3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP) Desirable: Web/Internet Security experience is a plus. Configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.) CI/CD3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in Python. 2+ years of Veritas Infoscale Clustering experience/knowledge A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
