Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures in a complex, multi-platform environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network security, private LTE (pLTE), and operational technology (OT) environments, as well as hands-on experience with Cisco security devices, firewalls, and industry-standard security protocols. This role will involve supporting multiple security initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as NERC-CIP, and leading projects related to network modernization and security enhancements. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a complex, multi-protocol environment. Hands-on experience with Cisco security/networking devices and firewall implementations. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Ethernet, VPN, NAC, and security protocols. Experience with operational technology (OT) networks and security best practices. Familiarity with private LTE (pLTE) network design and security. Experience with network monitoring, analysis, and security management tools. Knowledge of NERC-CIP, industry security standards, and compliance frameworks. Preferred Qualifications & Certifications: CCNP, CCSP, or CISSP certification (preferred). Experience with TCRI, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto Networks, and Tanium. Familiarity with Splunk, ServiceNow, and security automation tools. Experience with network security strategy enablement, cloud security, and GIS-based telecom systems. Key Competencies & Skills: Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and documentation skills. High level of integrity, ethics, and accountability in handling sensitive information.
