This is not a remote work position. Physical presence in the office is mandatory Monday to Friday. DESIGN Design new workflows for Special Education hearings Division Case Management System project and build front-end for the site written in C#, Asp.Net, .NET MVC, .NET CORE, SQL Server 2019. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 8, REST and SOAP Web service, XML, SSRS and Crystal Reports. Design new application submission portal for online form(s) with business rules and workflows. Design new workflows with specific features should be accessible via the mobile channel: Reviewing the case status Review and approve documents. Design and build new bi-directional integration webservices with external portal. Design and build webservices to authenticate internal users via AD, manages permissions. Design and build new workflows, but not limited to: Process online submitted form(s) Supporting calendaring and scheduling for hearing rooms and other activities. Design and build webservices to process datafiles from various external agencies. Design and build new reports. Design and build logic to capture and display error/warning message during hearings. CODING Perform coding as per the requirement using the .NET technology framework class library. Access Application Block (DAAB), and Exception Handling Application Block (EHAP). Code the applications using C#, Asp.Net, .NET MVC, .NET CORE, SQL Server 2019. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 8, REST and SOAP Web service, XML, SSRS and Crystal Reports. Create new webservice to communicate and process datafiles from various external agencies. Create new audio and video recording service thats compatible with Edge browser. TESTING Design and prepare Unit test case and removed the maximum bugs before passing on the application to the QA team. Unit test the code as per the design/requirement. Perform the unit testing for the defined task and deploy in testing environment for sanity, regression, and functionality testing. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Must have a minimum of 4 years experience as described in Attachment 2 City Labor Category Description for Programmer 2. Extensive knowledge and experience with C#, MVC, Asp.Net, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Html, Html5, CSS, Web User Interface Design (Ui), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (Rest/Soap), Bootstrap, Workflows, Angular. Experience with AngularJS Experience of building web sites with ASP.NET/MVC without Entity Frameworks Strong understanding of web design as it relates to MVC design patterns, attuned to the fundamentals of user interaction. Web services development with WCF and/or SOAP/REST frameworks using multiple protocols. Good understanding of overall web design including basic usability, accessibility, industry standards, architecture, and navigation Able to quickly grasp new concepts, incorporate innovations and stay up to date with industry. Experience with general User Experience concepts and the ability to design highly effective user interfaces (UI) Strong knowledge of web security concerns and preventive measures Strong knowledge of modern frontend technologies, best practices, and load speed optimization techniques. Adept at solving complex problems, strong analytical skills, and conduct root cause analysis on SQL query performance issue. Extensive Experience in SQL Server 2016,2019, SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, UDF, SSIS packages. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and Query Store. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Have a good understanding of all aspects of the application like rendering huge dataset, fetching data using HTTP and authentication. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
