Job Title: Accessibility Engineer Location: Onsite - Bellevue, Washington Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise on accessibility standards, best practices, and compliance with WCAG 2.1 and other regulations. Work closely with design, development, and QA teams to integrate accessibility into all stages of the product lifecycle. Conduct accessibility audits, usability testing, and code reviews to identify and fix accessibility barriers. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and legal requirements related to accessibility. Develop and implement accessibility strategies and frameworks to improve digital inclusion. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in accessibility, software engineering, or a related field. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience. Strong experience ensuring accessibility compliance in digital product development. Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1, ARIA, assistive technologies, and accessibility testing tools. Current professional certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or equivalent).
