Key Responsibilities: This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of Anaplan models to support business planning and decision-making processes as well as design, development, and implementation of complex data systems and solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability, reliability, and security. Lead the design, development, and deployment of data architectures and systems. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of data infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Mentor and guide junior engineering team members. Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices. Drive continuous improvements in data processing and storage capabilities. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in data engineering. Optimize data platform performance and provide expertise on choosing the right tools and technologies. Lead the strategy and architecture of the retail data platform, ensuring high-quality delivery of complex engineering solutions. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Anaplan models. Optimize Anaplan model performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Integrate Anaplan with other business systems and data sources. Develop and enforce best practices for Anaplan model building and data management. Conduct regular model reviews and implement improvements based on feedback. Stay updated with the latest Anaplan features and functionalities to leverage them effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Anaplan models and integrations. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Proven leadership experience in managing data engineering projects. Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages. Experience with Anaplan for business planning and performance management. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Retail domain knowledge and experience working with retail data systems. Preferred Skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices. Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics tools. Ability to work in an agile development environment.
