JOB Description TASK/SUB TASK: 6.5 Cyber Security Engineering # Years Relevant Experience: 10 Years (5 Years of which in Computer Science or related field or in an engineering related discipline or in an engineering related discipline) Education/Cert Requirements: BA/BS (or equivalent) Information Assurance Technical (IAT) IAT-I+, IAT-II+, Information Assurance Management (IAM) IAM-III 451 - System Administrator, 461 - Systems Security Analyst, 541 - Vulnerability Assessment Analyst, 722 - Information Systems Security Manager Required Competencies: Shall possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients. Familiarity with Department of Defense security requirements as applied to their subject matter expertise. Shall have experience working in an Information Technology environment similar in size (or larger) and scope to this award. Strong working knowledge of large, complex Information Technology environments. Exceptions may be made for specific individuals with specialized knowledge or skills in certain circumstances at the discretion of the Government. Certification in Security.
