We are currently looking for a Data Engineer. Position: Data Engineer Location: New Jersey (Onsite) or Remote Duration: 6+ Months Need Financial Exp Mandatory Skills: Azure Data Factory, Data Mapping, Data Modeling, MS SQL, Writing complex MS SQL queries Job Details: Develop and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from various sources. Design and maintain data models, schemas, and database structures. Select and configure appropriate storage technologies (e.g., relational databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes). Integrate data from diverse sources into a unified format. Transform data to meet specific analytical and operational needs. Establish data quality measures and implement data validation checks. Develop and enforce data governance policies. Continuously monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines to improve performance and reduce latency. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Required Skills and Experience: Data Modeling and Database Management: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks. Understanding of data warehousing principles and technologies. Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Version Control Systems: Experience with Git. Problem-solving and Analytical Abilities: Strong ability to identify and resolve data-related issues. Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Good to Have: Passion for testing strategy, problem-solving, and continuous learning. Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge. Possess a product/engineering mindset to drive impactful data solutions. Experience working in distributed environments with global teams.
