Title: SQL Architect With Banking and Financial Domain Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid Only EST Time Zone) Duration: Contract Job Description: A SQL Server Architect responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server technology, ensuring optimal data integrity, accessibility, and performance by creating robust database architectures aligned with business needs and compliance requirements. Required Skills:- Expert knowledge of SQL Server database management system (DBMS) including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques Proficient in Clustering, Replication, Log-shipping, Mirroring and Always On Availability groups Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions like Azure SQL Database Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Responsibilities:- Database Design and Architecture: Analyze business requirements to design efficient and scalable database models on SQL Server platform. Implement database normalization and data partitioning strategies.
