The ideal candidate will bring expertise across Java technologies, Spring Framework components, cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and modern web technologies, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework. Build robust APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS platforms. Employ DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab runners) and practices to streamline development and deployment. Implement and manage application containerization using Kubernetes. Collaborate with Agile teams to develop, debug, and refine solutions, documenting technical aspects of projects effectively. Work on enterprise tools like GitLab, Autosys, Liquibase, Splunk, and Datadog to ensure end-to-end application performance and support. Utilize web-based technologies (e.g., React) for front-end application development. Migrate applications from on-premise to the cloud, and assist with legacy system conversions such as WebSphere to OpenLiberty or Autosys to Azure ADF. Apply knowledge of security and quality scanning tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and Synopsys.Qualifications and Skills: Core Competencies: Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring REST). Strong background in cloud technologies, databases, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and best practices. Additional Expertise: Experience in debugging, technical documentation, and markup languages such as JSON and YML. Knowledge of ETL tools such as Synapse or Informatica is a plus. Exposure to Tibco, WebSphere-to-OpenLiberty conversions, and Autosys-to-Azure ADF migrations is beneficial. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
