We are working on a Sr Application Support Engineer position - they are seeking someone that has: Broadridge BPS experience Fixed Income experience Linux/ BPS Job Description: Providing L1/L2 support coverage. Resolving user Inquiries and handling Production Incidents, Root cause Analysis. Experienced with Sql, ETL ,Linux, Windows User access reviews, Audit reviews, IDM reviews Help in coordinating/Managing DR flips Supporting Tidal jobs Good to have prior application support experience with any of these. Broadridge apps(Impact, Cognos, BPS, Message Automation) Murex, Smartloan, Loanet. Years of Exp : 10-14 yrs in Application support. Supporting applications under Market Operations Support group. Experience with settlement, collateral and reg reporting(FI/EQ) and derivatives product. Working with various vendors to support different applications. Experience with Broadridge apps(Impact, Cognos, BPS, Message Automation). Experience with Loanet, Global one application. Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. Experienced in Linux, Sql DB. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Resolving user queries from business users. Picking up prod Incidents, Tidal Job failure tickets troubleshooting them and resolving them. Documenting and maintaining support knowledge share on Confluence. Working on data review by Audit teams, IDM team. Running reports for business users by querying DB. Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information systems or similar field. HIRING MANAGER Call Notes: L1/L2 support engineer needed 5 associates on this team, this will be the 6th 2 offshore, the others are in NY/NJ Capital markets industry background needed SQL, Linux scripting are MUSTS Prior application exp BROADRIDGE FIXED INCOME (impact, BPS, Cognos reporting) Loannet applications Cognos will make the candidate really stand out theyre going to be implementing this tool more Work shifts 7AM to 4PM (work would be remote this week!) + 11AM to 7PM 5 people doing the rotations this way its fair. Team member that will join will be part of this rotation Hybrid Metropark NJ, 3 days in office per week IF NYC, FULL REMOTE IF THEY ARE WORKING THE EARLY SHIFT STARTNG AT 7AM Contract length: 6 months, this is the max they can put.
