Job Title: Quality Engineer IV Duration: 12 months Location: Must be LOCAL to Irving, TX or Atlanta, GA Need: - Visa /DL/ 5-page resume Only / Linked in Interview Process: 1st virtual with hiring manager; 2nd is onsite for 3-4 hours with hiring manager and other team member Must haves: 7+ years of software engineering experience with some enterprise systems experience Python experience with testing frameworks and automation Jenkins API testing Exposure to working within a DevOps environment Cloud Native Nice to haves: JavaScript Selenium Payments industry experience Experience: Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills Strong knowledge of Agile development practices (especially Scrum), methodologies and tools. Minimum of 7 years of experience with Java or C# including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. At least 3-5 years of experience with Python, emphasizing testing frameworks and automation. 5+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly in test automation. Master with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Expert with API testing and performance testing tools. Expertise in Database concepts and testing using SQL\\NoSQL Performance & functional test automation experience Experience with web-based testing tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor etc. Experience in SCM like Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Power, Python, Java Experience in testing front-end, back-end and API components of cloud-based and/or client/server products 10+ years of professional software testing experience desired Preferred: Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance processes, procedures, and standards Demonstrated ability master technical details of multiple complicated software solutions; understanding technical and usability aspects as they related to quality and usability Self-directed individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent time management skills Detail oriented with a strong focus on quality Strong customer-centric attitude toward both external and internal customers Excellent analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills Duties: Develop automated tests using in-house or open-source test frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create solution-oriented test plans, integrating feedback from key stakeholders. Maintain a broad understanding of other product lines to evaluate their impact on overall solutions. Adapt to testing across various domains, including Backend, UI, and API. Support and enhance existing processes while identifying and implementing improvements. Manage and maintain QA environments, planning for future enhancements and providing support during implementation. Analyze user stories and business process requirements to identify and estimate quality risks. . Directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution and their ability to function effectively with their team. Works closely with client departments in development and implementation of application programs having direct impact on the business. Works closely with third party technology vendors to trouble shoot complex technical issues. Contributes to the development of client strategies at the project level. Understands industry trends and practices for areas of domain expertise. Contributes to the development of firm and industry standards and supports adoption of best practices- Manages risk, planning, and mitigation across supported applications and impacted areas. Preferred Skills: Experience in Medical/Dental Insurance domain.
