Proficiency in Kong API gateway, Lua scripting, and related technologies. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. In-depth knowledge of API security practices, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 5+ years of experience in Full Stack .Net development (.Net + Angular + Web Services + Web API). Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Competencies: Digital: Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud Computing Essential Skills: Oversee the development and maintenance of the Kong API gateway, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Design, implement, and maintain Kong configurations and custom plugins to meet business and technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure API gateway architectures that align with enterprise standards and best practices. Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless operation of API services. Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for API management. Continuously analyze system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and throughput. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Kong with existing systems and workflows. Provide tier-3 support for incident resolution and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
