Lead Java Support Engineer

Job Description

The candidate should have minimum 12 years of IT experience will have 5 to 7 years of experience in Java, Springboot and Microservices positions.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of L3 support engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high performance. Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve escalated technical issues related to the payment platform by effectively triaging , ensuring timely and effective solutions. System Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.  Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, develop action plans, and implement best practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures. Update the SOP and walk through the L2 team Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.  Compliance and Security: Ensure all activities comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the security. Required Qualifications Experience: 12 years of IT experience and minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a payment platform environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
