Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic SAP Basis Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Basis administration and a strong technical background. This role will be responsible for leading the SAP Basis team, managing system performance, and ensuring the stability and availability of the SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor the SAP Basis team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. System Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring optimal system performance and stability. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure the availability and reliability of SAP systems. Upgrades and Patches: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain the SAP landscape and support business requirements. Security Management: Implement and manage security policies and procedures to protect SAP systems and data from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP Basis processes, system configurations, and operational procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with functional and technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment of SAP Basis activities with business goals. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with SAP Basis advancements, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve system performance and business processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.). o Strong understanding of database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA, etc.). o Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows, Unix) and virtualization technologies. o Knowledge of SAP security, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies. Project Experience: Proven experience leading SAP Basis projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and support.
